        Palefest was built on the belief that creativity can save lives. Co-founders Bishop Walker and AJ Good created this festival as a refuge—a place where music, art, horror, and community come together to inspire healing, connection, and personal transformation.Forged from a difficult upbringing and years of battling trauma, They know firsthand that true escape and clarity can be found in creativity. Music and mask-making became the two forces that kept them grounded, focused, and alive through the darkest chapters of their lives. Those passions grew into a lifelong mission: to use the same art that saved them as a form of medicine that can help others find hope, strength, and identity. Palefest stands as a sober-friendly, mentally uplifting, community-driven festival where people of all backgrounds can experience the power of unity, self-expression, and alternative artistry. We support mental health, recovery-focused initiatives, and youth empowerment by providing a safe environment where creativity is celebrated without destructive influences. Through live events, year-round outreach, and a digital reach of nearly 200,000 dedicated subscribers, Palefest reinforces the idea that togetherness, inspiration, and authenticity can build stronger individuals and stronger communities. Our mission is simple: To build a festival—and a movement—that proves creativity, compassion, and connection are stronger than trauma, addiction, and adversity.
