When worlds collide.

Palefest was created by a trio who had spent their entire lives surrounded by masks, horror, art, and the underground community that connects them. AJ Good grew up going to conventions and shows, always sensing that something was missing — that the mask world deserved an event built with real passion and authenticity.

At the same time, Bishop and Jasmine Walker were carving their own path, with Bishop honing his craft as a mask maker and Jasmine pushing him forward when it mattered most. When the three finally connected, their strengths fit together naturally — AJ bringing his massive community and creative vision, next level dedication towards content, Bishop providing craftsmanship, artistry while pulling grueling hours and Jasmine picking up the administrative / business side of things. It was a partnership built on shared passion from the start. The turning point came when the trio attended Inkcarceration Festival together. It was exciting, inspiring, and full of energy — but even then, something still felt incomplete. Inkcarceration offered a glimpse of what was possible, but it didn’t give the mask and horror community the kind of dedicated, immersive experience they had all been dreaming about for years. That moment made it clear: if they wanted the perfect festival, they would have to build it themselves. From that realization forward, the trio committed to creating something different — a festival shaped for the people, by the people who eat sleep and breathe this culture, built from the ground up with heart, authenticity, and respect for the community. That vision became Palefest: a festival born not out of what already existed, but out of what had always been missing. A festival created by three people who finally came together to make it the way it was meant to be.
