Bishop

"The greatest gift a man can give, is to lay down his life for his friends"

Bishop Walker is a master mask maker, entrepreneur, and the creative force behind some of the most recognizable pieces in the hobby. Pushing like a one-man mass-production prisoner, he’s delivered thousands of iconic masks—some worn by major bands, others featured throughout the Hell House LLC franchise. Over the years, Bishop has built a reputation for craftsmanship that blends cinematic quality with authentic, handmade artistry, all wrapped in a deep shroud of secrecy.

But Bishop’s story didn’t begin in a workshop—
it began in chaos.

Raised in a harsh, unforgiving environment, he grew up surrounded by circumstances that break most people long before they ever find their calling. Through, violence, instability, and the kind of trauma that leaves lifelong shadows, there were only two things that ever gave him peace: music and masks. While the world around him fell apart, those two passions became the lifeline that kept him sane, focused, and alive.

What started as a means of escape became a form of therapy—
and eventually, a mission.

Today, Bishop uses the very things that saved him as the medicine he believes can change the world. He pours that purpose into his art, his work, and the communities he builds. His masks aren’t just props—they are symbols of survival, identity, and the idea that creativity can pull anyone out of the darkest places.

Like his co-founder AJ Good, Bishop grew up attending conventions, festivals, and shows, always feeling that something essential was missing—an event where creators, collectors, and fans could truly connect, inspire each other, and grow. That desire to build something bigger than himself fueled his journey from working dead-end jobs to transforming his passion for masks and horror into a thriving family business.

Today, Bishop serves as co-founder of Palefest, bringing a blend of hard-earned experience, creative vision, and community-driven leadership. He channels his past not as a weight, but as a weapon—crafting a festival born from resilience, healing, and the belief that bringing people together through art and music can save lives just as it once saved his.

Palefest stands as one of the nation’s most unique and authentic mask and horror gatherings because Bishop built it with intention:

to give the world the same refuge that once gave him hope.
