About the event
This year’s Palefest is shaping up to be our biggest and boldest chapter yet.
After four years of building one of Ohio’s most unique horror festivals—from intimate mask-maker showcases and gritty indie horror vibes to screen-used props, cult-favorite vendors, and unforgettable fan experiences—we’re leveling up in a massive way.
For 2026,
Palefest joins forces with Land of Illusion, Ohio’s legendary scream park and water park hybrid known for its massive Halloween attractions, immersive environments, and high-energy summer experiences. This partnership brings our festival into a full-scale entertainment campus built for dark atmosphere, huge crowds, and over-the-top production.
Expect bigger builds, bigger scares, more space, more vendors, more attractions, and a festival environment unlike anything we’ve done before. With Land of Illusion’s signature scream park energy, their sprawling grounds, and the ability to craft new immersive zones tailored specifically for the Palefest community, this year will be a true collision of horror…

Mask Vendor PRE-Registration – Palefest 2026 Mask vendors get a 10×10 booth, electricity included, and no cap on pricing. Camping is available. You may ship merch early for secure storage, and we’ll place it at your booth for load-in (July 22 or 23). Tables/chairs are limited add-ons—email info@palefest.com . Pre-registration is $200 (non-refundable). Prices will rise. All vendors must load out by July 26 at 2 PM. Secure your spot at Ohio’s biggest horror festival.
